Our Love Story
Owen and I met while in college, and we married in 2005. We were ready to start our family right away and then the pain of infertility hit. Having children would not be easy for us. I was working and putting Owen through school hoping that someday we would be able to have a family. Then our miracle happened, and we found out I was pregnant. Cairo was born May 7th, 2008 and we could not be more delighted. Since Cairo's birth we wanted more children but things just did not seem to work out. We have always had an appreciation for the sacrifice and love of adoption. Owen and I talked about adopting before we even were married and were open to the idea of loving lots of children.
Cairo is a loving and kind child. He likes things to be fair and always protects kids younger than him. He has asked to be a big brother for a while now. He has even asked Santa Claus if he could help get him a little brother or sister. I know if he gets the opportunity to be a big brother, he would be the best big brother any kid could ask for.
